We are delighted to announce that artist and friend David Batchelor will be attending the Mandranova in Residence project for 2026.
For over three decades Batchelor has been concerned with the experience of colour within a modern urban environment and with historical conceptions of colour within Western culture. His works are not limited to visual expressions such as sculpture, installation, painting and textiles but include also books and essays on colour theory.
Mandranova in Residence represent the opportunity to put David’s research at work into an active and rural setting and to foster the positive exchange between the artist, the farm and the local environment.
