The pool

Situated on a higher level than the farmhouse, the old gebbia, Italian word for an open-air cistern, was used to collect spring water that would later irrigate the surrounding garden. Agave, aloe and cactus plants grow on the rocky parts. Palm tree leaves are the natural roof to an idyllic patch of shade. Sitting by the centuries-old carob tree that stands tall a few steps up, you can marvel at spectacular sunsets over the sea.
